A classroom is a learning space, a room in which both children and adults learn. Classrooms are found in educational institutions of all kinds, ranging from preschools to universities, and may also be found in other places where education or training is provided, such as corporations and religious and humanitarian organizations. The classroom provides a space where learning can take place uninterrupted by outside distractions.

A canteen is a type of food service location in which there is little or no waiting staff table service, whether a restaurant or within an institution such as a large office building or school; a school dining location is also referred to as a dining hall or lunchroom. Instead of table service, there are food-serving counters/stalls or booths, either in a line or allowing arbitrary walking paths. Customers take the food that they desire as they walk along, placing it on a tray.

Our college has well equipped chemistry laboratories for both B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses. Where students perform practicals under the guidance of Lecturers and lab assistant. Each student has their own working space along with all other lab equipments. All safety measures are taken as per UGC guidelines. We have digital instruments like Spectrophotometer, Colourimeters, Conductivity meter, pH meter, Digital Weighing balance, digital melting point apparatus and many more estimation apparatus which are specially used by M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) Students.

B.Ed department of Guru Nanak Girls P.G. College is recognized by NCTE, affiliated to Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udiapur. B.Ed. Course running in Guru Nanak Girls P.G. College as a Faculty from Session 2017-18. The College has made available well equipped administrative building, experienced faculty, assembly hall, class room, practical labs, ICT room, music room, smart class, & canteen. For improvement the skill of student B.Ed department conduct various seminar, symposium, conferences & educational talks by experts.

Department of Geography lab is equipped with all basic facilities in lab. Various instruments available in lab for survey, Instruments for Plane table and prismatic compass survey doing survey in college ground. Typographical maps, satellite images, aerial photographs, weather instruments, whether maps, Globe and chart, exercise for students and training better.

A campus is traditionally the land on which a college or university and related institutional buildings are situated. Usually a college campus includes libraries, lecture halls, residence halls, student centers or dining halls, and park-like settings.

A playground, playpark, or play area is a place specifically designed to enable children to play there. It is typically outdoors. While a playground is usually designed for children, some target other age groups. Berlin’s Preußenpark, for example, is designed for people aged 70 or higher

Guru Nanak Girls College was established in 1997 and in the same year the library of the college was also established. This library is enriched with various books related with the subjects of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and B.Ed. Approximately 13000 books of various subjects are available to take benefit for students as well as faculty members for reading, consultation, study research etc. Not only books but journals of the particular subjects are also available. Many magazines, newspapers, syllabus, old question papers are also available for students. Book bank facility is also there for students. Which gats benefited by students by paying minimal charges. Internet facility is also available in the library for research papers. According to the requirement of students and faculties new books are ordered time to time. Our library serves common use to meet the educational informative and recreational need of the users. The planning to establish E-library is proposed for the betterment of students.

The college has a psychological laboratory equipped with various psychological tests and tools to assess the various aspects of behavior like Intelligence, Personality, attitude, aptitude, interest, creativity tests etc. Various apparatus are also available in the lab for doing experiments attention which gives students test hard experience and offers better opportunities for learning. Psychology laboratory is equipped for two purposes. Firstly for the recording of behavior and for the monitoring of mental and emotional state. Secondly for the systematic control of environmental and individual factors which influence and determine human mental and emotional State. The PG lab is also there for clinical Psychology practical’s. in this we conduct various therapies for improving behavior disorders of many forms.

Guru Nanak Girls P.G. College, Department of Zoology, Udaipur have several dozen identification guide for many kinds of specimens includes invertebrates vertebrates. Various types of permanent slides in different Branches like cell biology, development biology, Insects and also mounting materials for whole anatomical study of vertebrates and invertebrates. We have also the facility of various chemicals for different kind of test in physiology & biochemistry. Kinds of Glasswares for mounting the various parts of specimens and well equipped instruments like dissecting and compound microscopes for kin study. Overall departmental zoology lab have all kind of facility for undergraduate study.

Botany laboratory is well equipped for undergraduate students to perform various Botany practicals which are necessary for the study of structure, properties and biochemical processes of all forms of plant life. The lab is spacious, well ventilated and are equipped with necessary instruments such as dissecting microscope, compound microscope, pH meter, autoclave, centrifuge, oven etc. Botany lab is also supplemented with charts, specimens, permanent slides, plant materials etc. There is a botanical garden and departmental library as additional assets to botany department. The laboratories is useful and beneficial to the students as here they acquire skills which reinforce the knowledge imparted in the class room. The department is also organizing regularly field tour, multimedia tools and assignments to make subject knowledge more interactive and fruitful. Students got higher score in exam.

Home science is a dynamic and ever growing field of education. It is an applied field built upon both the contents from science and Arts, thus representing an interdisciplinary field that prepares young learners for the most important goals in their lives i.e. career or vacation in life and good health, family, food and nutrition with family well being. Home science improves the quality of their personal and professional life contributes towards betterment of family and community. Home science department of our college is well established department since 1997 and equipped with all essential equipments and four labs including cooking lab. Tailoring lab, management lab and first aid lab. All the labs are well furnished with necessary instruments appliances and valuable assets. The teaching and non teaching staff of our department are well qualified according to UGC norms.
