OUR HISTORY
Guru Nanak Girls’ P.G. College was established in 1997 with a mission and vision for empowerment of women through education particularly catering to educational needs of underprivileged and socially and economically backward girls of the region. It is a self-financed college owned & managed by Guru Nanak Public School Sabha, affiliated to Mohan Lal Sukhadiya University, Udaipur . It has completed 26 years of glorious service in the field of women education.
The college is named after Guru Nanak Dev Ji a great saint of Sikh community. During these years college has achieved highest record in admissions in various courses touching the figure 2200 which reflects remarkably significant a great progress & growth and also popularity of the institution among new admission seekers as a premier institution of higher education in the state. The institution proposes to start B.A. B.Ed & B.Sc. B.Ed. program in coming session for which action has already been initiated; it is noteworthy that the college has been accorded the status of a minority institution by the state government this year. A Centre for research on the teachings & philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji & their impact on Indian society is being envisaged under the new scheme with financial assistance from Sikh organizations and other funding agencies.

Along with theoretical knowledge, a sound practical knowledge is essential for which well developed laboratories are required. The Institute is equipped with stellar infrastructure including conceptual lab amenities as per syllabus of the courses running in the college. The Science, Education and Humanities laboratories are equipped with latest instruments/machinery to learn and explain scientific facts & theories.
Scholarship for meritorious & needy girls.
With the objective to provide financial assistance to SC, ST, SBC & OBC students college is providing various scholarship programs. Rajasthan scholarships are applicable exclusively for the students of the college meritorious, underprivileged & deserving candidates of the state under different schemes. The state scholarship encourages students to pursue higher education in the state.
